ScrubHub Southampton - Dress the NHS
During these unprecedented times, we are all looking for our own way to help. After seeing an advert on Facebook about the demand for scrubs from our NHS heroes, I knew this was a way we could step up.
Following the ongoing 'ScrubHub' initiative set up across the UK, we have set up Scrubs Southampton. It aims to provide NHS workers, in our local area, with the necessary protective clothing that they may need but cannot access due to the national shortages caused by COVID-19. These scrubs can then be delivered or collected (at distance) to suit the needs of each worker.
We have decided set up a GoFundMe to cover the costs of fabrics and volunteers have donated their time to manufacture. The remaining funds raised will be donated to the Southampton Hospital Charity - a wellbeing fund that was set up to support frontline workers as they battle this coronavirus pandemic.

We know these are uncertain times and in order to get through them together, we all need to follow expert advice from our NHS and government. Whether it be a donation or simply staying at home, your actions make an enormous difference!
