Scrubs For NHS Staff On The Front Line

Local NHS staff in South London needs your help

We are a group of volunteers in South London who raising money to make scrubs for our local NHS doctors.

Here in London  we had a request from a local doctor who needed some scrubs making as they couldn't find them to buy anywhere.  

Some NHS staff such as doctors and consultants don’t usually wear scrubs - but wearing scrubs is now the safest and easiest way for them to dress during this crisis. 

There is now a national shortage and we are hoping that by setting up our own small, local cottage industry in South London we can help at least some of the doctors who live and work close to us.

We are working within the strict guidelines of the lockdown and are asking for donations of £20 per uniform to cover material costs and delivery. 

We are a network of local volunteers who are working as quickly as we can to get much-needed clothing to doctors.

Any money donated which isn’t used to provide scrubs before the shortage ends will go to a charity for mental health charity specifically for NHS workers after the crisis.

Producing one set of scrubs costs approximately £20 (this only includes the price of materials like fabric and elastic bands), all our volunteers are giving up their time and expertise for free.
