Scrubs for NHS Scotland

Donation protected
We are the Glasgow branch of Scrub Hub, a network of voluntary community groups who love to sew, and are making scrubs to order for NHS staff who are struggling to get them during this crisis.

The scrubs are made to order by experienced and professional volunteers, working safely within the guidelines of the lock down. We ask for a donation per uniform when orders are placed to cover material and delivery but we are also welcoming doantions from the public to fund our endeavours and to donate to charities which will help Scottish practitioners during and beyond this crisis. These include The Benevolent Fund for Nurses in Scotland and the Royal Medical Benevolent Fund.

There is currently a shortage in some areas and we are hoping that by setting up our own community garment making hubs we can make a difference little by little for our local doctors. Some NHS staff such as GP's and consultants don’t usually wear scrubs - but this is the safest and easiest way for them to dress during this crisis.

If you are a member of the public and you'd like to sponsor our efforts you can do so here!
