Scrubs for Dorset

There is a national shortage of scrubs for our incredible NHS staff and healthcare workers. As you can imagine, scrubs are now in extremely high demand as many doctors and nurses do not usually wear scrubs. However, we now know that this is the safest and easiest way for front liners to dress for protection during the Covid -19 crisis.
I and a team of twenty volunteer sewers are now working flat out to make and donate urgently needed scrubs to front line workers in the NHS and Social Care Sector. We have self funded the first batch of scrubs, but we now need your help to fund more scrubs. The cost price for a full set of scrubs is £15 - all funds raised will be soley used to cover material costs so that we can make more scrubs and help more health care workers. Any left over funds at the end of the crisis will be donated to the NHS Practitioner health, an organisation dedicated to supporting the unique needs of health care professionals and their mental health, which will be of such great importance during the coming months.
We realise this is a financially challenging time for most of us, but any small donation you can make will help keep us sewing to protect our front line workers!
