Scrappy isn’t happy

Scrappy has been my best mate for the past 12 years.  Unfortunately unknown to me he had some growths under his eyelids and as it has been such nice weather and he likes the garden the other day he rubbed his little face on the grass and ruptured these growths which caused nonstop bleeding from his eyes.  I, of course was terrified and whisked him off to the vets.  He underwent an emergency operation to remove the growths and is currently recovering quite well.  Prior to the operation (he’s old and a chunky monkey so had some tests done before they put him under) they called to tell me he has issues with his kidneys and also something wrong with his liver so he’s had some additional tests (a scan and a biopsy taken) and we’re waiting for the results.   Unfortunately, due to a number of circumstances I hadn’t insured scrappy and so the bill has come in at an amount which is 3 quarters of my monthly salary. Although asking for help makes me feel ashamed I also know there are many animal loving and generous people out there that may like to help.  I am unsure whether to post the pics from when his eyes were bleeding as they are quite graphic and i, myself, am not a fan of blood.  Any help you could give would be extremely appreciated and we would both be so grateful.  These are difficult times for everyone so your kindness means the world to both of us.
