<div>Last week, the smallest member of our pack (physically but definitely not personality wise because anyone who knows her knows her presence is bigger than any room she is in ) suffered a debilitating neck injury that previously was managed with medications when needed. This time medications were not helping and she was struggling to walk and in an immense amount of pain. We got her the help she needed which came with quite the price tag. She has emergency surgery on a herniated disc and then was in the ICU afterward due to some complications.

<div>If you know us you know we will go to the ends of the earth for our dogs and Scrappi is no exception. So despite the cost, we never hesitated to do what we had to do. The complications during the whole process pushed the cost to the higher end of the estimate. Her total bill was $8,140. We are prepared to handle the cost as we need to but a bill this high is not something that is easily covered by us.
