Scott's Mission to Poland

Dear friends,
I am involved with a group called King’s Kids, which is a worldwide Christian organization of children and teenagers from many churches and denominations. King's Kids is currently involved in spreading the message of God's love in over 100 nations through music, drama, and the personal testimonies of the young people. It is a department of Youth With A Mission, the second largest missionary organization in the world.
This summer, one of the King's Kids teams is going back to Poland, and I am planning to participate as one of the staff members, again!
On our previous trip, we used the performing arts and testimonies to touch the lives of people of all ages in church services, youth camps, villages and other locations.
Through the performing arts, the Lord opened doors in order to: help local churches with their VBS's, be able to minister to the Mayor of Namyslow, and share the Gospel with a museum owner through love.
We also had the opportunity to share the Gospel with a group of kids while in Mikolajki for three days. They were from a Catholic group, on a summer retreat. Their Leader, who was a Catholic priest, had given his life to Christ years prior, and had been praying for King's Kids to share with his Youth for four years. While we were with them, our leaders shared many aspects of the Gospel and what it means to walk with the Lord. And by God's providence, all of the kids gave their lives to the Lord!
Having the opportunity to go back to Poland is super exciting. Our team would be able to reconnect with the kids that we ministered to the previous year, and we would be able to help strengthen them through the Lord's word!
Right now I am preparing for the trip by learning more about the history and people and praying for the Lord to bless the trip. We will leave on June 25, and the duration of the mission is 4-1/2 weeks.
Each of us going on the trip needs to raise a total of $3000.00. Though this is a lot of money, I am confident that God will help me and my team. I already have $300 raised, and I would like to ask you to consider giving financial support for this missions trip as well!
The $3000 cost isn't so big when it is broken down to 30 people donating $100, or 60 people donating $50, or even 100 people donating $30. Please make checks payable to King's Kids or Youth With A Mission. All gifts are tax deductible and are requested with the understanding that Youth With A Mission has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. Please do not write my name on the check if you want a tax receipt.
I am also willing to work for anyone that has particular needs, like dog/house sitting, mowing lawns, and other matters to raise money.
Also: I'm wanting to acquire materials to sell at a garage sale! Please let me know if you have anything that you would be willing to donate! Please contact me through facebook if you want to message me or have a question.
Would you please be a part of helping our team touch the people of Poland with God's love again this summer? We would appreciate financial support of any amount. I'd also like to ask for your prayers that the trip would be a life changing experience for all of our team.
