Well, as most of you already know, Captain Scott McCune, AKA The Saltwater Cowboy of Rockport , Texas (formerly of Bandera, Texas) lost everything on late Friday night, August 25, 2017 when Harvey came ashore the Texas coast and made landfall as a Category 4 Huricane. Hurricane Harvey unleashed 130 mph of thrashing winds and dumped 25-35 inches of rain causing widespread devastation.
Scott lost his home of 9.5 years that he purchased in 2008 and the entire contents, he also lost all of his fishing boats, a bunkhouse provided for all of his family, rodeo friends & fishing clients, his barn that was full of collectibles and several other outdoor buildings, pens and garden.
Now, for the good news, Scott (along with his three best four legged friends, Trigger and Kona and we can't forget, Splash, his furry friend) did announce he was going to "RIDE OUT THE STORM", but being the avid weather man he is, he decided to follow the latest coastal advisory and evacuate after all! Thank goodness....Scott, Trigger and Kona are all safe and sound.
Scott is a professional Captain of all fishing, he charters bay fishing, deep sea fishing, offshore fishing, flats fishing, fly fishing and the ever so popular duck hunting and a graduate of UTSA with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science as seen on fishntexas.com.
Scott is also a bull rider, a former member of the PRCA and currently a member of the TSPBR and a Top Competitor as most of you have seen him RIDE and WIN!
Anyone who knows Scott knows he has a big heart and welcomes everyone into his "Home Sweet Home".
After his fishing & hunting charters, he opens his home up to his clients/family/rodeo friends for an epic home cooked meal--the FRESH CATCH of the day!
Now, is the time to open your hearts and help him to begin a rebulding process and get back to work on the water....please continue to lift Scott up with your prayers and praise. THANK YOU for your generosity and support from the bottom of our hearts. Any contribution is most appreciated.
