For a great cause

March 4th marks the 14th anniversary of my dad’s death. I have always wanted to run the Indy mini marathon in his honor and to help raise money for American Heart Association and CYO (Catholic Youth Organization). These are the same two non profits we asked friends and family to donate to in place of flowers 14 years ago at his funeral.
I ask you to give for one of these reasons:
1. My dad impacted your life
2. To support me, even if you never knew my dad
3. You could care less about me or my dad, but really love these 2 non profits.
$5,000 is a lofty goal, but I have confidence in my friends and family!
Thanks in advance, and also know that I am striving for a personal best time in the mini this year to not only honor my dad, but to honor all those that are helping to donate to these 2 great causes. Gofundme does take 3% of each donation, but I will be donating to make sure that 100% of your contribution goes to the non profits.
