Scott's Disney Cruise Beats Cancer!

In January, 2018 Scott was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer, Stage 3, with metastasis to the abdominal lymph node. He has had one tumor removed through the loss of one testicle. The cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy overall have been exceedingly hard on him. He clings constantly to a build-a-bear plush his sister gave to him, and the light and laughter have gone from his eyes lately. As a special needs adult, he thrives on routine and his life has changed dramatically.
We do not understand why Scott has this cancer. It seems unfair after all that he has endured in his life already, but Scott is the Lord’s special child. We do miss the Scott we knew, always so full of life and personality, prior to this new normal for him. Scott isn’t married, has no children, and is in permanent care of his parents, Chuck and Emily Webster, due to his limited resources and lifelong special needs.
Scott's happiest moments are when spending time with family and friends, attending his Sunday School class at First Baptist Hendersonville, working his part-time job at Goodwill, and going on fun outings!
We wish to celebrate Scott this summer by sending him on a Disney cruise! Scott truly loves the magic of Disney. We believe planning his dream trip will bring Scott much needed emotional healing and take his mind off of the dreary, exhausting chemotherapy treatments and cancer diagnosis that are his current reality. He will be chaperoned by his sister, Cara Moffett, and her family. Chuck and Emily desire to rest during this time. Life has felt like a whirlwind since Chuck's stroke last December (and subsequent speech therapy) and Scott's constant round-the-clock care.
If you would like to donate money towards Scott's dream Disney vacation, monies collected will go toward our existing Disney Cruise Line reservation and Disney Gift Cards that will be used on Disney Merchandise onboard purchases!
