Scott Zielke Diabetes Battle

Donation protected
My brother Scott Zielke was diagnosed with Type1 diabetes and has been battling Type I diabetes since 2014. On January 18, 2018, Scott was rushed to the emergency room. Scott was diagnosed with Diabetic Ketoacidosis and Severe Sepsis (a blood infection). Scott fought for his life for several days in ICU. Due to the complications of sepsis, Scott’s right leg was amputated on January 29,2018. Scott still has to undergo several more surgeries on his left leg and  his left arm.

Scott and Rachael will now have to get their house furnished so it is handicap accessible including a ramp to enter their home. Scott will also need to purchase an insulin pump to help monitor his sugar levels and purchase his prosthetic leg. They aren’t in a financial situation to afford all these updates and necessities that Scott will now need to live his newly adapted life. Scott’s hoping to come home soon.

At this time Scott and Rachel Zielke need our help and any donations would be greatly appreciated!

We appreciate the help and please share.
