Scott Sheak benefit

Hello everyone,

On Friday, April 30th, 2021, Scott Sheak was involved in an accident on his own, while riding during a practice session at the Walden MX track. The accident was substantial and caused Scott to be rushed to Mid Hudson Medical Center for immediate care.

At this time, Scott is being treated for a traumatic spinal injury. He had surgery on Saturday, May 1st to stabilize his C7 vertebrae with rods and screws. Scott will be transported to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY this evening via helicopter to undergo more treatment.

Scott's family has been traveling from Hudson NY to Newburgh which is about 1 hr away and now that trip will be extended to 1hr 45 mins.

Scott will have a very long road of recovery and rehabilitation and the cost of this is extremely high.

We hope by offering this benefit, it will help his family deal with the immediate impact and costs and simply focus on his recovery.

Scott Sheak has spent many years racing at the top level of motocross and supercross but when he retired from professional racing, Scott came back home and gave his time to so many riders here at MSC. We are grateful for the many years of dedication to our sport, our riders, and our series. Let's help one of our own today by donating to his benefit.
