Scott "Danger Cat" Thompson Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On the afternoon of June 22nd while out camping in the backcountry of Campbell River, our dear friend Scott Thompson, was involved in a serious dirt biking accident. Upon being rushed to the Campbell River hospital it was revealed that his injuries were too serious and severe for medical staff to deal with and he would require an airlift to Victoria General Hospital.

Upon medical observation including x-rays and CT scans, it was revealed that he had broken all or most of his ribs on the left side of his body, punctured his left lung and lacerated his spleen. Due to the damage he sustained to his spleen, he will require surgery to have it permanently removed as well as his ribs fused back together and a tube placed in his chest to re-inflate his lung.

Currently it is unclear how long Scott's recovery period will be, but it will likely be a lengthy one.

Scott is a genuine, one of a kind friend to all and his selflessness is apparent in everything that he does. We wish to give back in the same way to him, his girlfriend Madison Ortman and his family during this difficult time. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. We know Scott will be astounded by the love and support from everyone. Our heart goes out to you Scott. Thank you all for your time.
