Scott Chism

Scott Chism was funny, mischievous, kind and never met a stranger.
Scott always knew how to lighten the mood and usually with the quickest
comebacks, that always amazed us all with his quick wit.
Scott was an amazing daddy to his baby girl and absolutely delighted in her. Scott was a fisherman and provided for his family usually being gone months at a time.
This past Thursday Scott returned and found his daughter wrapped under the
tree waiting for him. Watching the video grips your heart with his genuine smiles and her squeals of laughter at her daddy.
Watching this video no one could have known that he would spend the day with her and within days he would leave this world by a self-inflicting gunshot wound. His choice was one in a fleeting moment, that doesn't match who he really was as a father or son. Rather, the fact that he was an organ donor shows more of the true Scott.
In his passing he gifts to four other families his organs so that these families do not have to face the grief of losing their loved one.
His family at this time is focusing on the good memories and making sure his daughter always knows who her daddy really was.
