Scott Burkhalter & Family Benefit

On September 26, 2017 my husband Scott was riding his bike to work at the Voting Polls for the Election in our neighborhood. He was hit from behind by a pickup truck. It's truly a miracle that he survived the accident. He suffered many injuries- but his arm was the worst with a deep gash and broken elbow. He was sent home that day only to suffer a high fever the next day which turned out to be a Staph infection with an abscess forming in the arm. He had to go back to the ER for emergency surgery to clean and drain the wound. During his 4 day stay at the hospital, he was given the strongest antibiotics available IV- which 3 wks later resulted in blood clots forming in his arm. He now can't use either arm except for very small things. He was diagnosed with Acute Embolism & DVT- with multiple clots and placed on blood thinners that cost over $600 dollars per month. We were blessed with the first month, but we'll have to pay for the next. He's suffering greatly with other complications from all of it and had another ER visit November 1st. We lost our health insurance just before the accident and we are in Full-Time evangelistic ministry which is our only income. The medical bills are approaching $40,000 already and there is a chance that his arm may require future surgery. We don't know how much the drivers insurance is going to cover. We have no income- at all- for even the smallest of need coming in during all of this; but we know that God is faithful. If you can help our family at all, during this most difficult time, it won't go unnoticed by the Lord or us and we will all be forever grateful. We're anxious to get this all behind us so that we can fully focus on Revival & winning souls for Jesus. Thank you, and may God bless you richly.
