What I'm raising money for:
This page is to raise monies for Scott Brownell. Some know him as our classmate from Elmira SHS Class of 1985. Some know him from his time in Tampa or Savannah or now, Atlanta. We all know him as the generous, fun loving guy who has a heart of gold and is always willing to share it.
Scott has had a tough year with multiple health issues and hospital stays. He experienced some heart issues, was diagnosed with diabetes, had an infected absess removed from his shoulder and is facing surgery to remove a mass obstructing his intestines. Many aren't aware of these complications because through it all, Scott remains upbeat and still focuses on helping others.
How the money will be used:
Scott is self-employed, when he can't work, he doesn't get paid. Medications and supplies are still needed and not working for several weeks means there is a need for covering rent and utilities.
Why this is important to me:
If you can help Scott, no amount is too small. Together we can bond together and make a difference. Also, please continue to send good thoughts and prayers his way, healing is needed!
