Scott has been battling Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) for 4 years. He has been taking a pill a day that has kept him relatively healthy.
He started feeling really tired in February. Last week, we found out he has a blood cancer in addition the CML. The blood cancer is called MDS. He will need chemo and a bone marrow transplant.
He will not be able to work soon. We are hoping to raise some money to help us limp through until social security disability kicks in (7 months after he is unable to work).
Everything is so up in the air and nerve wracking. We appreciate every little bit of help you are able to give! We never thought we'd need to ask for help...but it's time to swallow the pride and see if our community will help support us through this difficult time!
