He was known for visiting neighborhoods throughout San Francisco, such as Telegraph Hill, with his young family, gathering up seniors’ pets, strays, and any animals the neighbors could find. Dr. Anderson would vaccinate and treat them, ensuring that every animal received the care and compassion they deserved. His legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of animals and their caretakers.

<div> The Scott AndersonDVM Memorial Fund for Compassionate Care of Animals continues his mission by helping pet owners and caretakers who are struggling financially. Funds raised will be used on a case-by-case basis to pay directly for veterinary care at Avenues Pet Hospital in San Francisco, CA. This includes emergency treatments, routine checkups, and vaccinations. Support will be provided through the hospital, ensuring that animals receive the care they need without financial barriers for their owners.
