Scott Allison Car Accident

On September 12, 2020 Scott Allison (my father) was in a terrible car accident as he was driving on the highway. There was a mechanical failure in his truck that ran him straight into a guardrail; his truck is now totaled. When the actual impact of the crash happened, his airbags never deployed causing even more unnecessary damage. He is severely injured and could possibly be paralyzed.  Currently he is in the hospital recovering and has had tremendous help already.

As you can imagine, this has hit our family very hard. We are figuring out the next steps to his recovery but still need help with the financial side. We need funds for medical expenses, legal fees, personal expenses (rent, new vehicle). Proving his truck had a mechanical failure will undoubtedly result in lawyer fees, as well as any property damage his truck might have caused. As it stands, he does not have health insurance  but we are currently working to get him on Medicaid.  My father is a carpenter, and uses his body to work every single day so this event has already changed his life...for better or worse.
