Scotland AME Zion Church

Donation protected
In July of 2019 the Historic Scotland African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church suffered extensive damage as a result of a devastating rain storm, and subsequent damage due to Tropical Storm Ida.   These storms damaged the foundation of the church and there is an immediate need for water remediation and repair.  Collapse of the entire structure is imminent without your support, we cannot do this alone.

The Pastor, Officers, and members need your support to repair this Historic Building.  We have hired engineers and architects, held hearings and received variances.  NOW, we are ready to acquire permits to rebuild and restore this historic church.  We still believe in people and our community at large and know that you will help us raise the $275,000 needed to tackle this next phase of rebuilding.  We invite you to NBC Channel 4 website for coverage of our story.  Scotland AME Zion Church is a 501(c)3 and all funds donated to this endeavor will be restricted funds utilized only for the permitting and rebuilding efforts. Take a moment to give, no amount is too small and we welcome large donors and Philanthropist who have a heart to help us.
