Scotland Cay-Abaco Dorian Recovery/Rebuild
Family & friends, on behalf of the residents of Scotland Cay, we are reaching out for help after Hurricane Dorian devastated our beautiful island. We are raising the funds required to recover this island and aid those who were devastated by the storm that ravaged the Bahamas.
We will be flying & boating over all collected supplies (food, water, building materials, tarps) and equipment (bulldozers, generators, chainsaws) that we will need to rebuild the island in Abaco Bahamas. The pilots will fly any stranded people in the Abacos back to the USA. The recovery will be a marathon, but we are dedicated to bringing Scotland Cay back to life.
The homes of all the full time residents on Scotland Cay were destroyed or need massive work, we would like this fund to go to rebuilding their homes as well. All 3 families have been on Scotland for a very long time . If you have ever had the pleasure to meet them, you will understand why everyone just adores these families. They make paradise... Paradise.
This little island has meant the world to everyone who has ever visited it. We appreciate all the support that has been shown to all of the islands in the path of Hurricane Dorian. Rebuilding our communities in the Abacos is our only goal.
