Adventure of a lifetime derailed by dog attack!

My friend, Hannah and I are 1000 miles into our bike trip across the US. We had left San Diego on January 20th and had planned to arrive in Saint Augustine, Florida around March 15th. The trip was "rolling" along smoothly until the morning of February 7th, when 10 miles outside of Hatch, NM, a pit bull charged at us. I tried to jump off my bike to create a barrier between myself and the dog, but in my haste, I was unable to unclip from my pedals and slammed into the gravel on the far side of the road, narrowly avoiding oncoming traffic.
I'm now stuck in El Paso with a broken collarbone and a bike that I can't ride.
As we see it, my options are:
a) Convince Hannah to tow me behind her bike in a Radio Flyer
b) Horse
c) Scooter
Since Hannah doesn't seem to be going for option A, and we can't carry enough food for the horse and ourselves, we are stuck with C.
