URGENT: Honza`s condition has worsened considerably. Honza cannot walk anymore.

Solution: JOYOR X5 SCOOTER to move around in his flat.

Honza`s condition has become much worse, restricting him even more than before. For a couple of months now, Honza has been unable to walk.

Moving around in his flat has become incredibly difficult, requiring the assistance of at least one other person. But since Honza cannot walk anymore, it has become almost impossible for him to get anywhere without assistance

But everyone who knows Honza knows that he never gives up!!!

Honza has tried out an ELECTRIC SCOOTER with a seat that is perfect for him to move around in the flat. But not just that, With the scooter, Honza can go on small "walks" around his neighbourhood, something he was unable to do for many months now.

After some customisation and adaptation, Honza is now able to move around independently, thus regaining some of the autonomy that his illness has deprived him of.

The price of the SCOOTER JOYOR X 5, including some additional customisation, is €1000.

The scooter allows Honza to be less dependent on assistance, hugely improving his daily life!  We have decided to start this campaign because of Honza's very limited funds, as his illness is associated with constant expenses.

If you could share this link with your family, friends and colleagues, or maybe initiate a collective fundraiser at work (where everyone contributes 5 €), the necessary 1000€ could be reached in no time.

For those of you who do not know Honza, here is Honza`s story:

My cousin Honza is a truly remarkable person. As a loving friend, husband and father, he always did everything to help and support the people around him. As a passionate musician and sportsman, he inspired everyone with his energy and drive. Alongside a successful career as a practising doctor and university professor, he loved cycling, windsurfing and climbing and was considered by friends and strangers alike as an extremely accomplished jazz pianist.

At the age of 19, Honza was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease, which led to a permanent disintegration of his red blood cells, making him dependent on constant medication. Aged 29, already a husband and father of two wonderful girls, he was diagnosed with a second, very rare disease called epidermolysis bullosa - with younger patients more commonly known as 'butterfly children'. This illness makes the skin extremely fragile, with even the slightest touch causing blisters and open wounds, which take weeks to heal and get infected easily. Epidermolysis bullosa is not only incredibly painful and restrictive, it also requires constant medical support and assistance. His wounds need to be cleaned and bandaged daily, which takes up to three hours, even with the dedicated support of his wife and two young daughters.

Honza's condition makes it impossible for him to engage in almost any physical activity. Walking causes wounds and sores on his feet, playing the piano blisters his fingers and even prolonged speech can cause him injury. Honza hung on to cycling for as long as possible, continuing to bike even when it caused him great pain, but now his illness has progressed too far for that to be possible.

For me, Honza was always the most inspiring person. Following his first diagnosis, I was so impressed with how he still managed to maintain such a positive and active lifestyle. However, as his epidermolysis bullosa has progressed, each everyday task has become an almost insurmountable challenge. But Honza didn't give up. His immense willpower and love for his wife and children make him endure, day by day, what seems unbearable: "I want to spend as much time as possible with my daughters, they give me the power to get up every morning", he told me during one of our many conversations.
