Scooter for David Lee

Thi is Carol Dickson, I am the person who set up the campaign for David. I have known David for over 40  years. I am setting this up in order to purchase a new scooter, pave the rest of his drive way, remodel his ramp or replace it. Over those years,  I have seen David in his scooter/ wheelchair, Attending Baseball and Basketball games at Kentridge. Heading home at night in the pouring rain( no cover on his scooter) because the Metro Mini van does not run after 6 pm in his area. Not to mention he has to maneuver his way on and off the street to get home from Kentridge. David only gets a minimal income thru the state.  He lives at home with a caregiver of which I do not know if he pays out of pocket or not. Either way he is in need of a new scooter. I am not sure this one would work for him but I'd like to raise money for something similar to this.  He also needs work done on his place.  I figured he could use the extra money for what ever those needs might be. Maybe a  cement driveway, a ramp or even widening the door for access to his scooter.  I mentioned to David I would like to do this for him. I would hope to have raised enough money to surprise him for his next Birthday.  Message me if you have questions.
