Scooby contracted a respiratory disease several months ago that costed around $800 to address. Sense then, he has had minor issues breathing with the exception of small coughing fits. Today, an hour after being fed in complete good health, Scooby was asphyxiating while trying to breath from his mouth like a dog, due to being unable to breath despite having all of his medicine and pre existing vet care addressed. His condition was horrible, we rushed him to an ER who said his condition was so bad they believed we should put him down, and if we did proceed it could be $3000 or more. They ended up treating him with oxygen and a steroid inhaler, which seemingly ended the breathing attack. We ended up paying $300 in fees after that. I write this today because we took Scooby home unable to cover the at least $943 in expenses to figure out what's wrong with Scooby, wondering if this breathing attack might happen again, even as of right now.

This animal clinic is 24 hours, no donations are expected, but all appreciated.
