<div>Bis vor kurzem stand der zweifache Familien Vater Marco mit beiden Beinen fest im Leben.

<div>In seinem Beruf als Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegers, war der aktive Ostfriese  unermüdlich im Einsatz und immer um das Wohl seiner Patienten bemüht. Dies änderte sich allerdings schlagartig als der leidenschaftliche Sportler, sich bei einem Footballspiel seiner Manschaft, den Aurich Eastfrisian Ducks, verletzte.

<div>Er zog sich eine komplizierte Tibiakopffraktur mit Zerstörung der Gelenkfläche zu, es wurde zwar zeitnah operiert, dies hatte aber leider nicht den gewünschten Erfolg, sodass nach dem Ausheilen der Verletzung mindestens eine weitere Operation nötig sein wird, diese beinhaltet unter anderem das erneute brechen des Tibiakopfes sowie eine Knochentransplantation.

<div>Trotz dieses umfangreichen Behandlungsplanes ist nicht vorraus zusehen, ob und in welchem Umfang Marco wieder laufen können wird.
