HARVEY DESTROYED: HELP the Schultz family GET BACK UP!
My name is Jana Schultz,
On Friday, August 25, 2017 our home in Port Aransas was hit by a Category 4 hurricane. Our house took a lot of damage even though it is still standing-roof damage and over 4 ft of flood water. Our house is currently uninhabitable and we have lost majority of our belongings, as well as my being out of a job for an undetermined amount of time due to damage at the restaurant i managed. We are so grateful for any money given to our family and will be used for temporary living expenses, food, clothing, gas, bills that we can not currently afford, and necessary replacements and repairs. Our withdraw plan will be to have the money deposited into our checking account to have the funds available for those needs.
We moved to Port Aransas because we wanted to raise our family in a safe a beautiful place just over a year ago, and now have lost just about everything we own. Port Aransas is such a precious place and home to many great people. The damage to the little island we call home was catastrophic.
We worked so hard to get to a place we could be proud of being, and amazing school for our children, a place to call home; and it truely is just that.
We have 2 wonderful kiddos: Odin - 7yrs old and Lux-E - 4yrs old! They are the sweetest most genuinely happy kids you have ever met! Not prepared for this is an understatement! We did evacuate, which kept our family safe, which is the #1. We will continue on as a happy family and continue to teach our kids how to be strong. We are going to need so much help putting life back together financially. We have a long road ahead and just want to put our lives back together. Please help my family rebuild our lives and the future we are trying so desperately to create for our children!! Anything and everything helps.
