In 2010, an educational organization called Rwanda Project USVI sent a group of Virgin Islands students to Rwanda. During our stay we met Bill.
It is Bill's dream to attend and graduate from the University of Rwanda. We can make this a reality through the support of our family, friends and you.
Bill's tuition will cost $1,000 USD per year. Another $1,000 USD is the estimated amount per year to cover the cost of food, housing, books and a laptop. This is a 4 year program. We would like to focus on raising the first year's tuition as a short term goal.
A little bit about Bill:
"My name is Ngendananayo Bill Celestin. I was born on July 3, 1992 in Banda, Rwanda. I am the fourth child among eleven children in my family. I come from a poor family who was unable to pay for my secondary school. Fortunately, I finished secondary school in 2013 through the support of Global Fund Project. I am a Christian who likes basketball and peace. I hope to study in university in order to achieve my future dreams of helping my family and the most needy people."
My name is Kali and I am one of the fortunate students that traveled to Rwanda. Together with my fellow travelers, we would like to make Bill's dream a reality. Thank you.
