School Uniforms and Feeding Program
Donation protected
The proceeds will go to a public elementary school, Graciano Lopez Jaena Elementary, located in my home town, Iloilo City, Philippines. It will be used for new uniforms and to create a sustainable feeding program, which at the moment consists of 54 students. The new uniforms will be provided to students who are unable to purchase one. As of now, the dietary needs are far below the required diet for an average child. One teacher in particular, Ms. Palmes, has started a garden that produces different types of vegetables, but due to the lack of money it cannot sustain a complete meal for each child. This would also allow for the students to have meat in their diet, which is essential to a child's growth, especially at a young age. Currently, the only meal the students have from the program is rice and vegetables, which we are hoping to soon expand to include meat/fish, even for once a week. We are hoping to be able to send the proceeds by March 1st, 2020, because the school year starts in June. Please join me in my mission. Your support is greatly appreciated.
