School Supplies for Harvey Relief
Donation protected
My beloved hometown, Port Arthur, Texas, was hit brutally hard by Harvey. Over 75% of the homes and buildings in town were flooded, often chest deep or higher. Many of Port Arthur's schools were similarly flooded and lost so many basics.
One school in particular, Adams Elementary (pictured) was so damaged they cannot reopen until November, when they will need everything, starting from scratch.
I was blessed with an incredible public education in Port Arthur. I'm not sure there was a better school system out there at the time. To give back, I'll be buying as many supplies as I can for Adams Elementary. If you could find it in your heart to send a donation, 100% of your gift will go to helping provide school kids with the basic resources that were destroyed. No amount is too small... or too large!
Also, if anyone has a connection at Staples or Office Depot, etc and can get similar donations, please let me know. You can contact me here.
Thank you so much. Do it for the kids!
