Joe and Dede Scholtes Fire Relief

I’m a Vacaville resident and senior at Vaca High. Recently our family had to evacuate our home and stay at a relative’s home. Luckily our home was kept safe thanks to the great men and women who make up our first responders. However, one of my best friends was not so fortunate. He and his family lost the house that has been theirs for years. Ryan and Sierra grew up in that house in the country. They, and their parents, put in hours upon hours of hard work to make that house their home. The LNU Lightning Complex Fire completely destroyed their house, and we want to show them an overwhelming outpouring of support in an attempt to raise funds to help them rebuild. I know our community will come together and give this amazing family hope as they are going through this loss.
