Scholastic News & Brain Pop, Jr. for 1st Grade

Want to help me make a difference? I'm raising money to benefit the 1st graders at Marshall STEMM Academy, and any donation will help make an impact! I am trying to purchase the following items for my students.

30 Subscriptions to Scholastic News Grade 1

Scholastic News is a great resource for kid friendly informational text. 1st graders have limited access to non-fiction reading resources. Scholastic News supports seasonal science and social studies topics throughout the entire school year. It utilizes real world photos that spark interest and curiosity.  In addition to the kid friendly newspaper, students also have access to Scholastic News online with each subscription. This online component will be a great addition to digital learning.

1 Classroom Subscription to Brain Pop, Jr.

Brain Pop, Jr. helps students understand a variety of topics using games, animated movies, and kid-friendly humor. Topics range from STEM, Science, Social Studies, Reading/Writing, Health, and the Arts. Brain Pop animation has been proven to be effective in fostering new learning and increasing academic performance. This online resource will also be a great addition to digital learning.

Thank you!
