Help me fund a survivor activist scholarship!

On 19th May I am running the Hackney Half Marathon in aid of Campaign Bootcamp.
I am doing this despite being horrendously unfit, in the hope that I will raise enough money to create a survivor activist scholarship for Campaign Bootcamp.
Most of you will know I was in a bad relationship during my early 20s, and that it had significant impact on my mental and physical health.
In 2017, I was still early on in that journey. I had started to be more vocal about my situation, and was beginning to get involved in some survivor-led activism.*
That's when I managed to get a place on Campaign Bootcamp's residential training course.
The 6-day training Bootcamp provided was truly transformational for me. It introduced me to campaign strategy, taught me how to take care of myself as an activist, and introduced me to other survivor activists.
Just five days after I graduated I was sitting in the House of Commons with parliamentarians and four other graduates talking about the Istanbul Convention and IC Change - a campaign that was concieved after co-founders Becca and Robyn met on a Bootcamp!
It also gave me a network and confidence that I had struggled to find before. Coming out of an abusive relationship often leaves people without both of these things. I cannot thank Bootcamp enough for helping me on this journey.
That's why I'm trying to raise enough money to send another survivor activist on Bootcamp - and why I need your help.

* when I use the term survivor-led activism, I am talking about survivors of domestic and sexual violence leading campaigns and advocacy for themselves and fellow survivors
More information about Campaign Bootcamp: We're a training organisation set up to build a stronger and more diverse campaign sector. I'm hoping to fundraise enough for a full scholarship - which includes access to a 6 day residential training, travel, food, accommodation, and a year of ongoing support. If I do not reach my goal, your donation will go towards our diversity fund, to ensure that those not represented in campaigning can come on our course.
