<div>ich schreibe diesen Hilferuf mit zitternden Händen und einem schweren Herzen.

<div>Mein geliebter Kater Simba ist gerade einmal 5 Jahre alt – viel zu jung, um so viel durchmachen zu müssen. In den letzten Wochen hat sich unser Leben komplett verändert. Bei Simba wurde eine schwere Herzerkrankung festgestellt – er braucht ab sofort täglich Herzmedikamente und Betablocker, um überhaupt stabil zu bleiben. Noch während ich versuchte, mit dieser Diagnose klarzukommen, kam beim letzten Tierarztbesuch der nächste Schock: FORL – eine äußerst schmerzhafte Zahnerkrankung, bei der ihm alle Zähne gezogen werden müssen.

<div>Die Tierärzte sagen, er hat eine Chance – aber die Kosten für die notwendige Zahnsanierung liegen bei über 1.500 €. Hinzu kommen monatlich rund 500 € für seine lebenswichtigen Medikamente, Spezialfutter und regelmäßige Kontrollbesuche beim Tierarzt.

<div>Ich bin am Ende meiner Kräfte: Meine Ersparnisse sind längst aufgebraucht, und ich weiß nicht mehr weiter. Simba leidet, und auch emotional ist er von den vielen Tierarztbesuchen völlig erschöpft. Er schnurrt noch – aber ich sehe, wie viel Kraft ihn das kostet, dass er es nicht mal schafft mit seinen Geschwistern zu toben.
