Doch damit diese Zukunft wachsen kann, muss jetzt gehandelt werden: Die historische Schlossmauer ist schwer beschädigt und muss dringend gesichert werden. Für diese unverzichtbare Maßnahme benötigen wir 60.000 Euro. Bitte helfen Sie mit, diesen besonderen Ort zu bewahren.

<div>Schloss Seyfriedsberg ist ein besonderer Ort im Landkreis Günzburg. Viele Menschen in der Region kennen dieses historische Ensemble mit seiner Ausstrahlung und der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft zum Wallfahrtsort Maria Vesperbild. Heute ist Schloss Seyfriedsberg mehr als ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude: Es ist das neue Zuhause des orthodoxen Klosters des Heiligen Hiob von Počaev.

<div>Mit der feierlichen Schlüsselübergabe am 10. November 2024 und dem ersten Bittgottesdienst begann ein neues Kapitel. Rund 500 Menschen aus ganz Deutschland kamen nach Seyfriedsberg, um diesen besonderen Moment mitzuerleben und ihre Verbundenheit mit dem neuen Kloster zu zeigen. Seitdem wächst das Interesse stetig. Besucher, Freunde und Unterstützer erleben einen Ort, an dem geistliches Leben entsteht – mit Gebet, Begegnung und klösterlicher Gemeinschaft. Schon heute ist spürbar: Seyfriedsberg hat eine Zukunft.

<div>Damit diese Zukunft Wirklichkeit werden kann, sind jetzt dringend bauliche Maßnahmen erforderlich. Besonders akut ist die Sicherung und Sanierung der beschädigten Schlossmauer. Ihr Zustand lässt keinen weiteren Aufschub zu. Für diese notwendige Maßnahme werden 60.000 Euro benötigt.

But before that vision can become reality, urgent action is needed. The castle's historic retaining wall has suffered serious damage and must be stabilized without delay. We need € 60,000 to carry out this essential work. Your generosity today will help preserve this remarkable place and secure the future of the monastery.

<div>Seyfriedsberg Castle, located near the Marian pilgrimage shrine of Maria Vesperbild in Bavaria, has long been a cherished historic landmark. Today it has been given a new purpose as the home of the Orthodox Monastery of St. Job of Pochaev.

<div>A new chapter began on November 10, 2024, with the ceremonial handover of the keys and the monastery's first service. Nearly 500 people from across Germany gathered to celebrate this milestone and witness the birth of a new monastic community.

<div>Since then, pilgrims, visitors, and supporters have continued to come. They encounter not simply a historic castle, but a place where daily prayer, Christian fellowship, and monastic life are beginning to flourish. The future of this monastery has already begun.

<div>Yet that future depends on preserving the buildings entrusted to our care. The most urgent priority is the restoration of the castle wall, whose deteriorating condition now threatens the site's long-term stability. This work cannot be postponed.
