<div>Am 28.07. wurde das Leben von Jogi Weiß, einem weit über unsere Region hinaus bekannten und geschätzten Maskenschnitzer, durch ein verheerendes Feuer erschüttert. Der Dachstuhl seines Hauses brannte lichterloh – Ursache unbekannt. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit stand das Zuhause in Flammen, das nicht nur Wohnort, sondern auch Werkstatt, Rückzugsort und Lebenswerk war.

<div>Jogi ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und gesellig – einer, der für andere immer da ist. Über 80 Narrenzünfte verdanken ihm ihre einzigartigen, mit Liebe geschnitzten Masken. Für Vereine, Veranstaltungen und Traditionen ist er eine feste Größe – nun ist es an der Zeit, ihm etwas zurückzugeben.

<div>Doch das Ausmaß des Schadens ist gewaltig: ca. 600.000 Euro! Die Versicherung deckt nicht den gesamten Schaden – eine schwere finanzielle Last, die Jogi nicht allein stemmen kann.
