Schallert Family Fire Relief Fund

Donation protected
My name is Tatiana Schallert. My husband, Caleb Schallert, and I started this fundraising campaign to benefit our family where required (from needs small to large such as personal care, clothes, food, bills, housing, etc.) who have been affected by the Tubbs Fire in Northern California. Our family as well as other local families have been displaced from their homes and even jobs... Sidney (mom), Zack (brother), Jen (sister), and Gene Schallert (dad) all lost their homes.  Our livelihood from Caleb's local website design and internet marketing business https://deerstonedevelopment.com is now affected as well as many of our clients lost their homes and businesses... Thank you in advance for your support during this transition! We promise to use utmost integrity as all funds will only go to helping our family affected. I plan to withdraw funds and split them up equally. #gratitude Scroll down to read our family's story.

Thank you from our family to yours! <3 <3 <3

On Sunday night a wildfire ripped through the foothills into our beloved city of Santa Rosa. A wild 70mph hot wind whipped the fire through the hills and into the city at record speeds. Unfortunately my husband, Caleb Schallert's parents, brother, and multiple family friends homes were directly in the path of the worst part of the fire - many barely escaping with their lives. His dad, Gene, brother Zack, Kevin Matreci, and Reagan Nesmith all lived in the foothills and saw the flames headed towards their home at full speed. As soon as Zack saw the wall of fire headed toward their area, he immediately began waking up his neighbors, family, and friends. His neighbors have expressed immense gratitude and attribute his action to saving their lives. They all evacuated as soon as possible. Zack and Kevin M. headed down the hill to Sidney's home (mom) where he found her and Jen Schallert (sister) already getting ready to evacuate. Sidney is not very mobile at this time so this has been very impacting on her specifically. Thank goodness Jen and Zack came to help her evacuate. The wall of fire was already heading toward that area so they immediately evacuated to our home which has been a safe zone since that time.  The flames were already spreading across the highway, which they had to drive through! (They are now all safely in local hotel rooms.) We are so grateful that our family is safe and alive however they did not have time to grab much of anything before evacuating the area - therefore losing all their personal property and belongings and even pets... Jen Schallert has had to postpone her wedding (scheduled in November) due to many of the guests losing their homes and much of her wedding stuff was at Sidney Schallert's home and it all burned... Our story only reflects a small portion of the devastation of these wildfires. We are grateful to have the opportunity to personally fund the needs of our family and our community.
