Schaitel House Saving Fund

My lovely sister and wonderful brother-in-law are in need of some money to help their house.  The short story is that they got involved with a bad mortgage broker, bought a home, both got laid off, and at the last minute, the incompetent mortgage broker told them that they will lose their loan if they don't have the money to switch lenders.  It is a poor situation that both of them were laid off this year, but also that brokers can do their jobs poorly and leave you holding the bag.

If Candace and Jason don't find a way to get the money, they will lose their house, all their savings, and they (as well as four cats and a dog) will be out on the street.  

Times are looking up.  They are both working now, but there isn't enough time to make up for the damage that has been done by a series of unfortunate events.
