On January 11th, 2018, our father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, good buddy, Kevin Schafer was taken to the hospital because he couldn’t stand, was having difficulty walking and his speech was off. An MRI confirmed that his first ever surgery would be that of a craniotomy to remove a mass on his right frontal lobe the very next day.
Kevin’s tumor was later determined to be the most aggressive form of brain cancer, Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM).
Standard of Care (SOC) which would include 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation to stall the growth of new masses, began a few months after surgery.
Kevin knows he is not alone in this fight and he deeply appreciates your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
All funds received will be used to help offset expenses anticipated during this time, alleviating financial stresses.
