Saving My Cat’s Life

I can’t believe this is something I have to make, or that I’d ever be in a financially difficult situation like this. Chief is my baby, my son, lol. He went missing 11/23. For the past 6 weeks I have been frantically searching for him.
Today, on January 6th, I got a call from the Humane Society that he has been found. I was overjoyed.
Upon receiving him back, I noticed he was acting extremely lethargic and was having trouble urinating. Growling and hissing and visibly walking funny. I knew something was wrong, even though my family wouldn’t listen to me, so I immediately took him to Urgent Pet Care.
Chief’s urinary tract is completely blocked with stones. He is in a great deal of pain, constantly licking his private area.
His bladder is infected and engorged, and it may have spread to his kidneys. He is essentially going to die without treatment.
He requires immediate anesthesia to save his life, drain his bladder, and he is going to need medication to help contract his bladder, as well as get rid of the infection. I was slapped in the face with a $1200 immediate payment, and am relying on credit I don’t have right now. I never thought in a million years I would have to ask for help like this on the internet, but this is a dire emergency. I don’t know what else to do.
Anything helps at all, even sharing helps. This cat is my baby, he’s my life. I love him so much. Having him away from me has been torture. I am so glad we found him, but now I’m terrified he isn’t going to survive. Thank you so so much for even taking the time to read this.
