Scarletts Mission Fund

I have the absolute pleasure of writing to tell you that God has been moving incredibly in my life lately. I am pursuing a missions oppurtunity this upcoming fall and need to raise around $15,000 dollars to do so.

As many of you know I have been pursuing full time missions ministry and recently have felt Him strongly calling me to a program called YWAM.
 YWAM  (or Youth With a Mission) is an international volunteer movement of Christians from many backgrounds, cultures and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.
I have the opportunity to follow this call to a Discipleship Training School in Ambergris Caye, Belize from October 2016 to March of 2017.  

It provides myself and the other students a life-changing experience with God that drives what we know about God from our heads to our hearts.  While I am serving away from home I will have a chance to share the gospel and be intentionally discipled in so I may grow in my walk with God.  
 The primary goal of the DTS is to raise up young leaders who are hungry to see change in the world and equip them to do just that. The school is also a ministry that is passionate to see authentic communities centered on the presence of God raised up around the Earth, spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through discipleship, sharing the unconditional love of Christ, and experiencing His grace. 


The first phase of the school is the Lecture Phase and during this time, I will be learning about God’s character and nature, His voice, growing in my knowledge of the gospel, worship & intercession, and being a disciple in God’s kingdom. 

The second portion of the school is the Outreach Phase  This time will be spent on a missions trip overseas where we will be spending time building relationships with other communities & showing light in areas that have never seen it. We will be following the call to “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19. I AM SO EXCITED to have this opportunity to explore my Maker more, to study His Word, and use the passions and gifts He’s given me all over the world in order for people to know & fully understand His love. 


It would be wonderful if you could keep this ministry and I in your thoughts & prayers because I cannot do this alone!

I am looking for 100 supporters to give a one time no commitment needed donation of only $150 between now and July 30th. ( Thats only one month worth of daily starbucks! ) 


>>>The cost of  lecture phase is roughly $3,950  Fee includes all room and board, lectures, required books and materials, planned activities and some recreational activities such as sailing and kayaking.  Lecture Phase fee does not include travel to and from the YWAM DP campus. 


>>>The cost of The Outreach phase will be anywhere from $3,350 – $5,950 Fee includes travel from YWAM DP to outreach location and return to YWAM DP, room and board, and ministry-related expenses.  Outreach locations (and associated fees) are determined (based on location) and announced early in the DTS lecture phase. Each school will offer at least two outreach location options and could be anywhere in the world.


>>> The cost of travel will be around $1600 Fee includes passport and visa fees, traveling from San Francisco to the island of  Ambergris Caye Belize just off the coast of the Mainland. Two days of traveling back home come March 2017.
