Scarlett’s Gender Confirmation Surgery

well, where to start with this one.
it took an immense amount of abandoning-my-pride to even want to consider this, but…
i’m scar and it’s dawned on me that there is an extreme cost to physically/medically transition.
i have been burning for facial feminisation surgery, which can only be done by a few specialists around the world - like most gender confirmation surgery.
normally i would love to be able to look after myself with saving and hard work but the timelines are looking terrifying - and i cannot stomache the idea of having to put off confirmation surgery for over 10 years.
consultations with the surgeons have given me a pretty clear idea and with travel, recovery, surgeon, psych and insurance fees - we’re looking at over 50-60k.
i really pray that the petition for gender confirmation surgeries under Medicare hits the government, but considering how the Australian government thinks with progressive issues - i don’t have much hope!
