"It is with the deepest sorrow that I am announcing the birth of our daughter in this manner. On Sunday morning, we came into the hospital for evaluation after Chynelle woke up and had not felt Scarlett move like she normally does, despite attempts to stimulate her with a cold drink and something sweet. Our fears mounted and were confirmed after doppler and ultrasound did not reveal a heartbeat. We had lost our baby girl two days after her due date. Chynelle labored for 31 hours and was so strong despite knowning the tragic outcome. She delivered a beautiful, but lifeless baby girl today at 1:21pm. She weighed 8lb, 9oz, 19 inches long. Scarlett Lee Quinn was so pretty and she looked like me; I know she would have been a daddy's girl. We are the parents of a beautiful angel in heaven and we both find comfort in knowing that we will meet her one day when she rushes to the gates of Heaven to meet us. We thank our friends and family for their support and appreciate your thought and prayers during this difficult time."
