Scarlett is going scouting in Kenya!

Scarlett has been given an amazing opportunity to head to Kenya next year to work with children in a local village with Somerset Scouts. The trip is scheduled to go ahead in the summer of next year. 

Anyone who knows Scarlett knows that she’s always up for an adventure and a challenge! Scarlett joining the scouts has been such a positive influence on her - she’s made so many like minded friends through the group and it’s been a great confidence booster! 

Her newest challenge is figuring out how she can successfully fundraise the money for the trip in the light of the current covid crisis. A lot of the original ideas we had are no longer doable, however if anyone out there has any ideas on how we can raise this money please do message me!!

we will be doing lots of updates over the next few months - our first initial target is £200 by the end of September! The trip it’s self is costing over £2,000(flights, accommodations, transport and food) all other costs such as vaccines and equipment/ clothes costs will be met by Chris and I. We have covered the cost of the deposit that secured her place.
