Scaringi Law v. Governor Tom Wolf

PA Governor Tom Wolf has ordered the closure of the physical operations of Pennsylvania businesses he deems to be non-life sustaining. This business closure order has caused significant financial and operational harm to thousands of Pennsylvania businesses and their employees. Hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians are now out of work because of the Governor’s order. Scaringi Law has filed legal challenges to the Governor’s order on the grounds that it violates several provisions of the Pennsylvania and U.S. Constitutions. The goal of Scaringi Law’s lawsuits are to get Pennsylvania businesses up and running again, get laid off workers back to work and earning paychecks while businesses and employees put into place and work under COVID-19 workplace prevention and mitigation guidelines promulgated by the Centers for Disease Control or other appropriate agencies or associations. Pennsylvania businesses are life-sustaining. They sustain the economic lives of the people of Pennsylvania.
