Saipan Cares for Animals is a non-profit rescue clinic that provides low cost services to the Northern Mariana Islands. Since the closure of Saipan's single veterinary office, SCA is currently the only organization providing medical care for animals in the CNMI. Our services include vaccination, emergency care, and spay/neuter services with the help of our volunteer veterinarians who come from all over the world to donate their time towards helping animals in need.
The reality of life for dogs and cats in the CNMI is harsh. There are few animal protection laws, little education on pet care, and a lack of affordable spay/neuter services which has resulted in a large population of strays. SCA takes in as many sick, injured, and abandoned animals as we can, in the hopes that we can find them loving forever homes when they are healed.
SCA is currently in the process of finding a new location and need your help! We are just starting to look for possible locations for the new SCA clinic, and there are a lot of costs associated with moving our operation including rent for a new space, building new kennels, and the teardown of our current facilities so that we can leave our As Gonno property in good condition when we move. Please donate to our fundraising campaign to help offset as much of the cost as possible, and hopefully avoid any interruptions in our services. Any amount helps!
