Berkeley Firefighters Charity Poster

The Firefighters of Berkeley, California have commissioned renowned artist David Lance Goines to create art for a poster that represents the history of the department. Department members will be selling the posters, and all proceeds will be going to the BFRA (Berkeley Fire Random Acts).

BFRA is an organization that conducts outreach to locate and contact community members in order to help them. A few examples of past projects include:
-Building a wheel chair ramp in a private residence. 
-Clearing overgrown and hazardous brush from around a home.
-Replace a broken heater in the middle of winter.
-Replacing a single mothers car after it was destroyed by fire.

Obviously, these projects are not without cost and require money to buy materials, etc. Berkeley Firefighters are asking for donations. Any amount helps, but a donation of $40 dollars means that you will receive your very own poster created by Mr. Goines. 

About the author:
David Lance Goines is a Berkeley-based artist/calligrapher who has done artwork for many organizations, both local and nation-wide. His unique style is classic and recognizable. Berkeley Firefighters consider themselves lucky to work with him. He has estimated about an 18 month wait until the completion of the poster.

*A minimum of a $40 donation is required to reserve a poster.
*Please be patient, David Goines is in high demand, the posters will be completed in early 2021.
