The British public has truly stepped up in order to provide frontline carers with PPE - from people 3d printing PRUSA masks at home, companies making injection moulded equipment and gowns off their own bat - to people sewing scrubs and masks. The gov't hasn't done it so we must!
Every penny we raise will go on masks, safety goggles, splash shield visor kits, gowns, coveralls or gloves. We will only spend money on either finished goods or the raw materials to make them - plus packing, posting, deliveries or machinery. We've started up in Liverpool but our aim is to provide PPE to all the heroic coronavirus carers and keyworkers in Britain. They all matter. Small manufacturers want to help make laundry bags for care staff, cut patterns for waterproof coveralls, larger companies have staff on furlough who want to help. They can begin manufacturing to help provide PPE nationwide.
The shameful actions of the UK gov't has led us to catastrophe. They allowed footie matches and race days when we already had COVID-19 cases in the UK.. they operated a fatal strategy of herd immunity, and have kept airports and non-essential businesses open. The gov't cancelled testing, contact tracing and isolating back in early March and have given shamefully inadequate PPE to NHS staff, hospices and nursing homes. Our MPs may have a laissez faire attitude to people dying but WE DO NOT.
Manufacturers are ready to go NOW but they just need money for the raw materials, processing and packing and deliveries. NO-ONE in our organisation is being paid for their time: we are serting this is up as a democratic cooperative because we ❤️ our frontliners.
Those people providing healthcare to Covid19 patients are our top priority: whether they work in the NHS, care homes, hospices, nursing homes, or at the funeral directors and mosques preparing for burial.  
When we are able, we will provide to bus drivers, pharmacists, health centres, opticians  and any other keyworker who needs PPE.
