Connie Yvette McKay Marsalis currently resides in Little Rock, Arkansas. She is supported by her husband Bernard Marsalis for over 20 years. She is the mother of 2 and a Grandmother of 2 and one one the way. She is a proud Class of 1985 graduate of the historic Little Rock Central High School. Ask anyone who knows her and they will tell you that Connie is one of the most trustworthy, giving, funniest and loving persons you could hope to know and/or meet. She loves worshipping at church, music, singing, dancing and laughing. She loves wholeheartedly and is very passionate about her family, those she loves and those who love her in return. She lives life to the fullest and enriches those around her by simply being present. All prayers, thoughts, and well-wishes sent her way are welcome and will be accepted as gifts of love.
We the family, friends, classmates and co-workers of Connie humbly request your help. Connie was diagnosed with late stage cancers of the liver and colon in June 2016. She is undergoing and aggressive treatment protocol inluding radiation and chemotherapy.
Though she has completed several rounds, the cancer continues to spread.
Connie will be seeking futher treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Treatment in Houston, Texas. Connie is unable to work due to her illness and her medical costs continue to rise. As she continues to literally fight for her life, she will need financial assistance as soon as possible as her insurance coverage will soon expire. To continue her treatment at MD Anderson, we are asking for your help in lifting the financial burden of continuing treatment, lodging and monthly living expenses so she can concentrate on fighting this terrible disease.
