Saying Good-Bye to Our Newborn Son

Timothy-John Mathias was  born to Christopher and Melody Cayford on March 15, 2018.  At the time of delivery, his little heart stopped beating for 8 minutes, and in spite of the best possible care, he suffered other complications, including extensive brain damage.  After 9 precious days, Timmy went back to be with the Lord.

His grieving parents plan to bury Timmy in Cedar Lawns Memorial Park in Redmond, Washington, near his grandfather's memorial stone, on which is inscribed, "...We more than conquer through Him who loved us" (Romans 8:37).

The funds from this campaign will go to Timothy-John's parents, for caring for his burial, including the Cedar Lawns Memorial Park expense of around $9,000, the cost of arrangements in the Boston area, that amounts to around $5,000, and the cost of Chris and Melody's travel to be at their son's burial. The additional $10,000  will help with hospital expenses and other needs they have at this time. They are also hoping to be able to donate a bench to  their local Cambridge community, in Timmy-John’s memory, where they and others could find solace and rest.

Thank you for your care and support.
